Almuftah Polymers receives ISO certification from TÜV SÜD

Almuftah Polymers recently received a DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 certification for its effective implementation of a quality management system. The certification was issued by TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH, a leading international technical service organisation with headquarters in Germany and offices in the Middle East.

Almuftah Group Managing Director Ibrahim Almuftah expressed satisfaction over the division's receipt of the certificate.

“The company has made a great effort to introduce and completely implement an ISO-compliant quality management system in Almuftah Polymers. We do hope that this measure can significantly improve the division’s quality of work in the future,” he said.

In the past few months, Almuftah Group’s Quality Management System (QMS) Department worked diligently to review and revise the division’s internal work processes and to firmly establish these in a new quality manual. 

Tony Tremedal, head of the QMS Department, said that the internal and third-party auditing allowed the management to become more sensitive to the work processes and methodologies that are being carried out in Almuftah Polymers.

“Thanks to all these procedures, our goal to make the division’s processes more efficient has been realised,” he said.

The certificate’s seal of approval comes with an affirmation from TÜV SÜD’s auditor, who personally observed the completion of the requirements expected of the division.

He said, “I have noticed that the employees here are passionate and work tirelessly to achieve their objectives and goals.

"Almuftah Polymers’ quality management guidelines encourage a systematic approach to working, and its quality manual is specifically tailored to the needs of a company whose end goal is really to improve employee and customer satisfaction.”
