Founded in 1977, Almuftah Fibreglass Products holds the distinction of being one of the first companies in Qatar to manufacture fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) products. The division was initially established by Almuftah Group in order to address the country’s growing need for hygienic drinking water storage solutions. Before long, the division was able to build a reputation for quality and excellence and today holds a prominent position as a leading manufacturer in the specialised field of FRP manufacturing in Qatar.

 

At present, Almuftah Fibreglass Products produces a wide range of FRP products for an equally varied customer base. Our products are used in a variety of applications for a number of industries, including oil and gas, fertilisers and other chemicals, marine and sewage, and in commercial and residential construction.

 

Our team of highly skilled engineers, designers, technicians, and quality assurance personnel work hand-in-hand in our purpose-built facility to make various FRP products by employing specialised techniques, including filament winding technology, light resin transfer moulding (LRTM), vacuum infusion, and the more traditional contact molding or hand lay-up technology. Using such techniques and a lot more, they are able to produce prefabricated and tailor-made products that are structurally sound and dimensionally faultless.

 

On top of manufacturing our own products, we also engage in the retail of items made by other prominent manufacturers. These products include sectional panel tanks from Japan and India, pultruded profiles from USA and India, and gratings from Australia, USA, and other countries.
